HANEY, John Christopher

55, passed Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at home after long and difficult multiple illnesses. He is greatly missed by those who were close to him. He is survived by his mother, Mary Kathryn Haney of Tampa; two brothers, Gregory Allen Haney of Tampa, and Michael Lee Haney of Mineola, TX; and his companion, Michael Owen of St. Petersburg. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Haney in 1997. John, who preferred to use Christopher, had worked at multiple medical labs including Smith-Kline, and also did data entry including time at Cash-flex in Tampa, all in the 80's and 90's. He also worked at Day's Inn in St. Petersburg. His religion was Metaphysical.
