RAY, Lisa Deanne, 50, of Tampa, died March 28, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. A Tampa native, she is survived by her loving husband, Scott Ray; sisters, Donna Mitchell and Janice Vogt; niece and nephew, David and Melissa Mitchell; and countless close friends. Deanne was a lifelong Tampa resident and a Class of 1978 graduate of Hillsborough High School. She earned her associate' s degree in nuclear medicine from Hillsborough Community College. Deanne worked for 23 years at Tampa General Hospital in the Radiology

Department doing CT scans. Deanne was an inspiration to everyone and did not let cancer get in the way of living. She will be truly missed. A special thank you is given to the doctors and nurses at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and to Hospice of Pasco County for the special care they provided to her. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the Adams & Jennings chapel. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
